Day 1: Las Vegas
Head to Las Vegas for a three-night stay in the heart of the action at the historic Golden Nugget Casino. Meet your fellow travelers during a "Get Acquainted" dinner at your hotel, and top off the day by exploring the lights and nonstop action of the Fremont Experience, directly outside your hotel. (D)

Day 2: Lake Mead Cruise & Hoover Dam

Trade the bustle for natural beauty as you drive north to Lake Mead for a lunch cruise on board The Desert Princess, an authentic, three-level, Mississippi-style paddlewheeler. You’ll skim across Lake Mead’s glassy blue surface in style as you take in the mighty rock formations and learn fascinating details about the construction of Hoover Dam, the formation of the Colorado River and the Grand Canyon. (B, L)

Day 3: Grand Canyon West
It’s time to see what everyone else has been talking about: the Skywalk. You’ll need to steel your nerves to venture out on this horseshoe-shaped glass bridge, which juts out 70 ft. from the Grand Canyon for a view that drops 4,000 ft. straight down. Get your picture taken on the Skywalk with Eagle Point in the background, to prove you had the guts! Lunch is included at Guano Point, overlooking the Canyon, or Hualapai Ranch, a Western Style Village. You can also visit the Indian Village, which features recreations of the dwellings of Native American tribes, such as the Hopi, Plains Indians, Havasupai, Navajo, and Hualapai. Each village includes authentic displays to explore and a wealth of information to absorb. Return to your hotel for the night. (B, L)
Day 4: Calico & Home
After breakfast, drive down The Strip to see some of the most amazing hotels in the world. But the excitement is far from over. On the way home, we’ll stop at Buffalo Bill’s Casino in Primm, Nevada, for a morning break. Then, it’s back towards California and back in time in dusty Calico, California – an old western mining town that has been around since 1881. Once a multi-million-dollar enterprise, it’s now a typical ghost town. You’ll have plenty of time to explore, take photos, and have lunch on your own at one of the three restaurants in town before heading home. (B)
