Customer Spotlight: Navajo Nation with Connie!

May 21, 2018 4:22:23 PM / by Gadabout Vacations

At Gadabout Vacations, our mission is to help our customers make memories and expand their horizons -- and maybe even make a few new friends along the way.

We've been doing just that for more than 50 years!

But what is a tour really like? If you've never been on one, you're certainly in for a treat. And we'd love to let one of our Gadabout travelers tell you about it!

Our Wonders of the Navajo tour just rolled back into town, and happy customer Connie was excited to share some photos and recollections with our staff -- and with all of you.

"This was my first tour ever and my first multi-day tour with Gadabout Tours," Connie says. "I absolutely loved it!"

As part of the tour, our group visited the breathtaking Antelope Canyons, seen here in a photo taken by Connie, left.

The group also visited Monument Valley, Canyon de Chelly, and trading posts that have been in operation since the 1870s.

There were also stops at the Navajo Interactive Museum, Navajo Code Talkers Museum, and the historic St. Michael's Indian School -- where the local children presented a performance to the guests.

Along the way, a Navajo guide joined the bus to provide historical and cultural context to the breathtaking sites the group visited.

Overall, "This was a dream come true for me to see the Navajo Nation!" Connie says.

The group also toured petroglyphs from centuries past, seen here in Connie's photos.

"This trip was amazing," Connie says. "Thank you Gadabout!"
