Day 1 & 2: Mesa & Las Cruces
Prepare yourself for a truly unparalleled event! You’ll ride to Mesa, Arizona, for an overnight at the Holiday Inn and welcome dinner before motoring on to the Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces. Immerse yourself in the excitement of the Southwest with the famous award-winning margaritas at the historic Double Eagle restaurant. (D; B, D)


Day 3: Albuquerque Balloon Museum
Continue on to Albuquerque for a two-night stay at the Hotel Albuquerque. Explore the International Balloon Museum, dedicated to the art, culture, science, history, sport and spectacle of ballooning. Tonight, you’ll have free time to enjoy Old Town. (B)


Day 4: Balloon Festival
Head to the Fiesta grounds for the Mass Ascension, with hundreds of colorful balloons filling the sky. The balloon fiesta began in 1972 with 13 balloons and 10,000 spectators. Today, more than 600 balloons and 1.5 million spectators from around the world participate. Later, return to the Fiesta grounds for the special fireworks show (B)
Day 5: Santa Fe & Gallup
Travel to romantic Santa Fe. Known as “The City Different” and the terminus of the famed Santa Fe Trail. Visit the Loretto Chapel with its miraculous staircase. Have some free time to enjoy the city before you continue on to an overnight at the Gallup Hampton Inn. (B)
Day 6 & 7: Scottsdale & Home
Travel through the red rock desert to charming Scottsdale for a Farewell Dinner and an overnight at the Holiday Inn Express before returning home. (B, D; B)
