Days 1 & 2: En Route
If China is on your bucket-list, this tour includes 15 meals, deluxe accommodations and all the highlights for a nominal price. Check in at East China Airlines for your flight to Beijing, the capital of China, where you will spend three nights.

Day 3: Forbidden City
Morning sightseeing at the Temple of Heaven where the locals often gather for their morning exercise. Before lunch, visit a pearl workshop to admire the master jewelers. Next is Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, an immense maze of palaces and gardens. (B,L,D)

Day 4: Great Wall
One of China’s biggest accomplishments is the 4,000-mile-long Great Wall, first constructed in the 5th century B.C. You’ll be escorted to a spot where you can say you walked the Wall. After lunch-time, stop at a jade-carving shop. Then, explore the ancient alleyways of Beijing by rickshaw. Stop in the courtyard of a family home to learn about their lifestyle. (B,L)

Day 5: Warriors
Transfer to the airport for the short flight to Xian. Meet your local guide and begin an excursion to the Eighth Wonder of the World, the Terra Cotta Warrior Museum. Enjoy a special dumpling lunch today and maybe a walk on the City Wall. (B,L,D)
Day 6: Xian to Hong Kong
Fly to Hong Kong where a local guide will be with you to explore the City. You’ll climb Victoria Peak by cable car, see the worldfamous Victoria Harbor, charming Repulse Bay and the fishing village of Aberdeen. In the evening, don’t miss the Symphony of Lights, the largest lighting and music show in the world as well as the glamorous night lights of Hong Kong. (B)

Day 7: At leisure Hong Kong
Enjoy visiting the stores in this shopping paradise or join the optional tour to Macau to see the Las Vegas of the East. (B)

Day 8: To Shanghai
Fly to Shanghai, China’s most populous city and the center of trade and industry. A local guide will show you the highlights of the City. Walk along the Bund, attend a silk-weaving workshop, visit the famous Yuyuan Garden and the busy Old Town Bazaar. Enjoy Shanghainese dim sum with an acrobatic show this evening. (B,L,D)

Day 9: Free Day
Spend the day at leisure or join an optional tour to Suzhou, the “Venice of the East.” (B)
Day 10: Home
Transfer to the airport for your flight home. (B)
